ABOUT

A monthly evening of live jazz where the audience is invited to make art in response to the performances.

Situated at the Gallery Café in East London, each Blue In Green event showcases a jazz group or player and gives the audience the chance to draw and paint spontaneously, whether it’s capturing a musician in action or just creating something inspired by the music there and then. The events have produced many drawings and paintings, which collectively serve as a colourful and varied record of the performances - have a look through the gallery for a taste. Whether you're a jazz aficionado or novice, a skilled artist or a crude scribbler, come to our next show, grab a drink and a pencil and get stuck in while hearing some great live music.
