BLUE IN GREEN #12

Our guest in November will be guitarist Marco Punzi with his quartet, featuring Ed rice on piano, Johnny Wickham on basses and Theo Gutttenplan on drums.

After the release of the debut album “Snow” by his Italian collective Eazy Quartet, Marco decided to put together his own quartet and compose songs informed by the knowledge he gained during his time at the Guildhall School of Music, as well as his Italian heritage. The result is a mixture of exciting, high-energy music, meditative ballads and the spice of odd time signatures.
